Being an employee at Resort Delivery has provided me with an experience of a high intensity and fun working atmosphere. I have learned some of the ins and outs of owning/managing a small business. Since there are many resorts we deliver to with varying management, I have learned the differences, protocols, and procedures of a wide variety of properties mostly in Vail, Aspen, and in Beaver Creek. On this journey I have learned the importance of customer relations, and the vital need to have high retention rates so customers will not only keep coming back, but will also recommend us to others. Also, I have learned that practice makes perfect, which takes time. At the beginning of the job not only did I mess up orders, I was slow in messing them up. After a few weeks I figured out the system of how to do things and made adaptions that worked best for me. This made me more efficient and overall better at my job. I learned how front desk staff, loss prevention staff, and concierge work with other companies such as Resort Delivery to provide services to their guests. It has been fun and eye opening to see how all these entities work together to provide certain services to the residences.
